Q: What about names?

MK: I would wish it was a secret among musicians (but I fear it is not) that
your name is only a practical necessity, a vessel carrying your stuff to the
listeners waiting on the shores of craving for music without knowing your
name they won´t let you play, and the more known you are, the easier it is
to get the gigs, get the ability to play  under decent circumstances
But, the secret is, music has nothing whatsoever to do with names; music is
beyond fame, financial security, idolization etc.
There are a few well-known musicians who died fairly young and therefore
maybe didn´t get trapped by their own names they died just before getting
hijacked by it; Coltrane, Dolphy, others you can think of in the same
situations
And when your own name gets more important than your music, when you start
to think in terms of 'my name against your name' or 'I´ve been around much
longer than you' etc the essence of your music is lost
So, the best for a musician I think, is to be fairly recognized, not too
early  in his deeds, he has to have his years in the dark etc known and
established enough to get a chance to work, but not more. That keeps your
music alive, that keeps it fresh.

Q: What about machineguns?

MK: Isn´t it strange, isn´t it odd that there is no discussion whatsoever
about the very existence of machine guns, mines, tanks, bombers,
handgrenades, missiles how come, every day and night we are saying yes to
these nightmares of consequences that these scientific explorations continue
to bring to the children of this planet?

"Q: "The Equalizer"!?

MK:It is on the same level; every rock ´n roll star career can be achieved by everyone, a gun can be , bought or stolen, every man´s property - equalizing the anatomy of agony remnant in one single person´s mind.
You see, to be in the shadow when even the shadow is not to be seen, is unbearable.
It is always a world - half-destroyed, detached, you name it - surrounding a person.
